AmsterMiniMUN

Untitled design-12.png

Proud to Announce AmsterMiniMUN, taking place on April 18th on the Roeterseiland Campus of the UvA, created to bridge the long wait between AmsterMUN editions, giving delegates the chance to relive the spirit of AmsterMUN sooner through a focused, one-day conference that captures the same engaging and high-quality debating atmosphere.

With four small-capacity committees, AmsterMiniMUN will offer an intensive and educational debate environment, designed to encourage meaningful collaboration and dynamic discussion. The smaller committee size allows for deeper engagement, giving both beginners and experienced delegates the opportunity to actively participate, develop their diplomatic skills, and experience the fast-paced energy of committee work.

About AmsterMUN

Founded in 2025, AmsterMUN was created to fill a surprising gap: despite being a global city with major universities, Amsterdam lacked a flagship international MUN conference. From December 5–7, 2025, we’ll bring together 200 students from around the world to debate pressing global issues across seven committees, including the UNGA, UNSC, European Council, and ICJ.

The conference is organised by the AmsterMUN Secretariat, part of SIB-Amsterdam | DUNSA, the Student Association for International Relations, founded in 1947 and home to over 300 active members passionate about diplomacy, politics, and international affairs.
