Amsterdam University Fund

AmsterMUN 2025 is proud to announce AUF as our main supporter

The Amsterdam University Fund (AUF) is a foundation dedicated to supporting education, research, and student initiatives at the University of Amsterdam. Established to strengthen the academic community, the fund enables projects that foster intellectual curiosity, societal engagement, and international collaboration.

Through grants and financial support, AUF encourages students and researchers to realise their ambitions beyond the classroom, whether through academic research, international exchange, or initiatives that enrich university life. The fund’s mission is to ensure that promising ideas and projects receive the resources needed to make a tangible impact on both the university and society at large.

By co-funding AmsterMUN 2025, the Amsterdam University Fund contributes to the development of future leaders in diplomacy and international relations. Its support allows students from diverse backgrounds to engage in meaningful dialogue, develop critical thinking, and explore complex global challenges in a professional and academic setting.

AmsterMUN is proud to collaborate with an institution that shares its commitment to academic excellence, international understanding, and the empowerment of young people to make a difference in the world.

About AmsterMUN

Founded in 2025, AmsterMUN was created to fill a surprising gap: despite being a global city with major universities, Amsterdam lacked a flagship international MUN conference. From December 5–7, 2025, we’ll bring together 200 students from around the world to debate pressing global issues across seven committees, including the UNGA, UNSC, European Council, and ICJ.

The conference is organised by the AmsterMUN Secretariat, part of SIB-Amsterdam | DUNSA, the Student Association for International Relations, founded in 1947 and home to over 300 active members passionate about diplomacy, politics, and international affairs.
