Combatting Dark Web Enabled Trafficking in the West Balkans
The West Balkans has become a critical hub for trafficking networks that now operate largely out of sight, coordinating through encrypted platforms and dark web marketplaces. Delegates will need to balance international police cooperation with the practical and legal limits of policing a threat that barely touches the surface web.
Interpol facilitates cross-border police cooperation, enabling member states to share intelligence and coordinate action against transnational crime. Its investigative, cooperation-based mandate offers a distinct dynamic from traditional political committees.

Tillie Morris
I am Tillie, orginally from Guernsey, now studying a masters in political science at Leiden University. I started MUNs when I moved to the Netherlands for my bachelors. I spent a year in a delegation and after this I was keen to chair and have done so since. A fun fact about me is I can tap dance, and did so competitvely for many years!
Seppe Grobben
Hello! I’m Seppe, I’m 21 and I’m from Belgium, and grew up in the US. I’m doing my Masters in International Governance and Diplomacy at Sciences Po in Paris. I started MUN in highschool and continued at the university level over the last couple years. AmsterMUN will be my second time chairing, and I very much look forward to the Interpol committee this year.
