1918: the Russian Empire has collapsed, and Reds, Whites, and a dozen other factions are fighting for control of what comes next. Delegates will represent key figures navigating shifting alliances, foreign intervention, and battlefield fortunes that can turn in an instant, with crisis updates ensuring no two committee sessions unfold the same way.
Crisis committees simulate fast-moving, high-stakes scenarios where delegates directly influence unfolding events through directives and personal power, guided by a dedicated backroom team. Built for experienced delegates who thrive on unpredictability and constant strategic pressure.

Carl Sjölin Fagerlind
Crisis Director
Hi all! My name is Carl and I will be this years crisis director at AmsterMUN! I am 25 and I study International Governance and Diplomacy at Sciences Po in Paris. Since starting MUN three years ago, I have mostly focused on crisis committees, so now it is a true honour to be the crisis director of my home conference. A fun fact about me is that I have played curling for more than half of my life
Miha Persyn

Hi everyone, I'm Miha, and I'll be one of the members of the backroom at the AmsterMUN crisis! I'm half Belgian and half Slovene, but for the next two years I'll be all over Europe while doing my Erasmus Mundus Master's in International Economics. I'm 23 years old and in my MUN career, I have done numerous MUNs in Belgium, Spain, Slovenia, Germany, Malta, Armenia, Czechia, and Albania, and I'm excited to be adding the Netherlands to my list. In addition to this, I had the privilege of being the Vice Conference Organiser of our conference, Salient, as well as having served in various roles on the MUN Slovenia Club executive board. Outside of MUN, I love listening to various genres of music, reading, playing video games, and nerding out on all topics related to international politics. I hope to see you all in Amsterdam in November!

Hello, my name is María de la Torre Regidor and I’m a third-year student of International Studies and Law at Carlos III University in Madrid, although this academic year I’m on my Erasmus exchange in Bremen. As a Crisisholic, I’m really looking forward to being part of the brilliant Crisis team at AmsterMUN for another year. May the Revolution be with you, comrades!

My name is Codrin and I'm 21 years old. I've lived for 19 years of my life in Romania, but I've moved to Maastricht to study European Law. I first started MUN in 2019 in my city, Iași, and over the past 2 years I've slowly integrated myself in the international MUN community.
A fun fact about me: Despite being a 3rd year University student, I still don't drink coffee at all.
Bobby Yu

I'm Bobby, and I'm studying Computer Science at the University of Surrey. I started MUN three years ago at a one-off session in high school, which ended up with me co-founding a MUN society for our school. Fun fact: I used to own turtles and goldfish, and on separate occasions I woke up to find each of them missing - sadly, only one lot came back.
Abishanka Kumar

Hi. I am Abishanka Kumar. I am a masters student at the University of Amsterdam studying in new media and digital culture. I recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in media and information with a minor in International Relations at the University of Amsterdam. I have been an active participant in the MUN circuit in the Netherlands since 2024 and I have had the opportunity to participate in several conferences across the Netherlands and even in the USA. I am currently serving as the Vice Chair of Amster MUN. It feels great to be back at Amster MUN after being a delegate last year and now being a backroom chair in Crisis, my favourite committee. I am really looking forward to the delegates and the crisis simulation in November.

Hi! Im Mike, I'm from Poland but I study in Tilburg. I'm on my 3rd year of Global Law programme and I started doing MUN back in high school around 2022. My personal quest rn is for my house to be classified as a library, I've bough and read about 420 books for now so I'm about half way there!

While I have been doing MUN for 3 years, this will be my first AmsterMUN and my first time chairing the backroom at an actual conference. I'm Joshua and I am finishing up my studies at the university of St. Gallen. Though originally from the French part of Switzerland, I partially grew up in Australia where (fun fact) I was bitten by a crocodile. I started MUN about two years ago and have loved every minute of it.

Hi everyone! I’m Benjamin, 22 years old from Denmark! I’m half Danish and half Maltese. I’m currently taking a few gap years to figure out what to do with life and I while doing so, doing a bunch of amazing conferences around Europe! I’ve been doing MUN since 2020 but actively been doing University Level MUN since 2025. AmsterMUN will be my 20th conference. A fun fact about me is that I do musical theatre and choir as a hobby!

Im Polish but im currently studying Business Administration in Copenhagen. (Maximizing shareholder value or something?) I’ve been doing MUN since highschool, running the society and bringing swords as props for crisis committees. Now i’m part of CBSMUN
