Ad Hoc committees are designed for maximum flexibility and surprise: the topic, format, and rules can be tailored entirely to the scenario, often blending elements of crisis, negotiation, and improvisation. Recommended for experienced delegates who enjoy the unexpected.

Nicolas Drew
’m Nico, and I'm doing a masters in Political Science at the University of Konstanz. I grew up in the USA and didn’t move to Germany until I started uni, starting my MUN life two years ago with my university’s home conference. Despite easing myself into this world at first, AmsterMUN will now mark the 12th conference I’ve been to in the past year. Outside of MUN I like basically all sorts of outdoorsy stuff while also perfecting my secret brownie recipe. But within MUN the main thing that kept me coming back was that it introduced me to so many internationally-minded people from across the world. The AdHoc committee now lets me put all my experience to use, and I hope you enjoy the surprises we have in store for you!
Mihnea Pinzaru
Hello everyone! My name is Mihnea and I am more than excited to be Co-Director of the Ad-Hoc committee alongside Nico as well as being joined by insert first name of the future third chair, two people I have the utmost respect for! I am third year European Law student at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands from Romania. I have been doing MUN's since 2022 and have not slowed down since! I enjoy listening to rock music, playing videogames and have recently started reading a lot about the history of the United States! My fun fact is that I am an officially licensed Counter Strike referee and have refereed at the World Esports Championships in 2023! I am eagerly looking forward to seeing you all at AmsterMUN, a conference that now holds a special place in my heart!

Hi everyone! My name is Sophia, I am 21 years old and I'm from Denmark. I study Political Science at the University of Amsterdam and this is my fourth year doing MUN. A fun fact about me is that I have lived in 8 different countries (so far).
